Two New National Account Managers appointed by BAKO

David Jones and Kim Wright have been appointed by BAKO Group Ltd as national account managers.

Established over fifty years, BAKO distributes bakery products to customers across the UK with a multi-temperature fleet of over 70 vehicles. The company provides independent bakers and caterers with a wide range of ingredients and finished products from quality suppliers, as well as its own BAKO Select branded range.

Jones brings over 18 years of experience in the food manufacture industry, and Wright has over 13 years’ business development experience in a variety of sectors. Both will be responsible for developing relationships with customers outside BAKO’s core markets of independent, medium and large bakeries.

BAKO CEO Mike Tully said “As the country’s largest bakery ingredients wholesaler and distributor, BAKO is an established wholesaler to the bakery industry, but bakery ingredients are used in a huge variety of further sectors, from food manufacture to catering in leisure, public sector, health, education and more.

“BAKO are seeking to develop opportunities in these further sectors, throughout the UK, and develop our presence as a recognised supplier to the food manufacturers and the wider industry.”
