Lancashire County Council will be asked to appoint Mark Wynn to the role of Executive Director of Resources at a meeting of the full council next week.
Mark is currently Chief Operating Officer at Cheshire West and Chester Council, overseeing the Corporate Services directorate, and has a wealth of experience in local government.
The Executive Director of Resources at the county council is responsible for driving transformational change across the council and supporting the organisation to deliver the ambitions set out in our corporate priorities, which ultimately support Lancashire residents to receive services they need and deserve.
Mark said: “I feel very privileged to be recommended for such an important role and feel that I will bring the experience and approach to deliver high performance, engagement and innovation across the directorate.
“I am passionate about local government and improving outcomes for residents and look forward to working for a Council that strives to deliver modern and efficient services.
“I relish new challenges and I am extremely excited to get going and help the county council deliver its ambitious vision and working with the talented team there already.”

Lancashire County Council will consider the appointment at full council on Thursday 13 October.
