ALDI COLLEAGUES IN LANCASHIRE CELEBRATE A COMBINED 40 YEARS OF SERVICE

Two Aldi colleagues in Lancashire are celebrating work anniversary milestones this month after both working at the supermarket for two decades.

Dee Wild-Andrews, an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi’s Clitheroe store, and Kelly Knight, a Store Assistant at the Fleetwood store, both joined the supermarket back in 2002.

Dee first started as a Store Assistant at the Colne store, going above and beyond her typical store duties over the years by helping to train new members of the team, and progressing into her current role as a result.

Speaking about her long service, Dee said: “Being part of the Aldi family for 20 years has been an absolute pleasure. It’s amazing to see how much the business has grown since I first started and I’ve learnt so much.”

Meanwhile, Kelly has worked at several stores in the region during her time at Aldi, including Clitheroe, Blackpool, Preston, Kendal, Cleveleys, Poulton and now Fleetwood.

Speaking about her long service, Kelly said: “I can’t believe it has been 20 years since I first joined Aldi. I can easily say no two days are ever the same and I always look forward to seeing both my amazing colleagues and our customers each and every day.”

Ruth Doyle, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our store colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.

“Colleagues like Dee and Kelly are the cornerstone of our business and I thank them for their continued dedication throughout the last 20 years.”
