True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners are delighted to announce that Lisa Govier has been
appointed as Business Improvement Director and joins the Board of Directors at True Bearing with
immediate effect.
Lisa will head up their new Business Improvement Department and will be instrumental in helping
pick up the pace of True Bearing’s growth plans for the region. She will also assist in driving
strategies that foster continuous evolution and improvement for the firm and will play a key
strategic addition to the board.
Lisa joined True Bearing in May 2021 in a newly created role as Growth Project Manager. The last
few years have been a period of change and growth for True Bearing, having joined the Amber River
group in 2021 and expanded key areas of the business within that time. Lisa has more than 20 years
of experience in management roles within the Financial Services industry, most recently as
Relationship Director with Schroders Personal Wealth.
It is also noted that Lisa’s appointment to the True Bearing Board of Directors takes their percentage
of female directors up to 50%, a number significantly above the FTSE 100 average of 34.5%
(Statista.com) and the financial services industry average of 30% (Stemwomen.com).
