Double award win for CMAC Group at the specialist Business Continuity Awards

CMAC Group, the award-winning managed ground transport company, has been recognised for its expert business continuity solutions at the prestigious CIR Business Continuity Awards, held at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square last week.

The Accrington-headquartered firm landed the Specialist Company of the Year Award for its essential support of clients throughout the year and the Most Innovative Product of the Year Award, for the business’s new online platform, Homesafe, launched to support continuity and risk professionals with easily managing office evacuations in a hybrid work setting.

CMAC was commended for its proven ability of responding to crises and demonstrating continued expertise in providing round the clock business continuity solutions for a range of disruptive events that threatened the survival of both private and public sector organisations in 2021.

CMAC supports clients with both strategic and tactical crisis management to minimise disruption, increase the speed of recovery and avoid reputational damage. The firm ensures a seamless response to every invocation and prides itself on forming a sense of interconnectedness with all partners to better achieve their organisational goals.

In 2021, CMAC safely transported more than two million travellers on behalf of its clients such as the Home Office, Freightliner and Gateshead Council.

Steven Turner, CMAC Group Founder, said: “We have built our reputation on delivering flexible, reliable, and agile continuity transport solutions for 15 years.

“Our expert teams are available round-the-clock, 365 days a year to provide the ‘pixie dust’ that enables us to facilitate reliable emergency transport and accommodation when disaster strikes.

“The Specialist Company of the Year and the Most Innovative Product of the Year awards are testament to the expertise and unwavering commitment of everyone involved at CMAC, who work tirelessly to ensure that our clients receive a continued quality service that meets their individual needs.”
