Blackburn-based Sales Geek is launching an office in Yorkshire to help businesses in the county improve their sales.
Established in 2017, the multi-award-winning company has doubled in size every year since launch, delivering a blend of professional services, both online and face-to-face, to businesses and public sector organisations across the UK and internationally, while its Sales Geek Hub app also has users across the globe.
Setting up offices in Leeds, Andrew Abbey has joined the company to provide its services to businesses across Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Kirklees and Calderdale.
Born and bred in Leeds, Andrew has worked across the UK in a variety of sales and business development environments, operating within multiple sectors that include construction, telecommunications, engineering, and manufacturing.
He said: “I’m hugely excited to be bringing Sales Geek to Yorkshire, working with local businesses to provide top level sales leadership, and help transform sales processes and the people operating within them.
“If you ask any growing company what they need most, the answer will invariably be the same – more sales. But hiring a highly experienced sales director is simply unaffordable for most growing businesses.
“Sales Geek provides businesses with access to an experienced interim/part-time sales director who takes a hands-on approach, working alongside business owners, to drive their sales process and deliver the results they need.
“Individual sales director expertise is backed up by the full Sales Geek team, providing support in multiple disciplines from people training, ecommerce, marketing strategies and process development.
“It’s basically like having a senior sales director and their team join your company, without having to hire them full time.”
Sales Geek founder and CEO Richard Few said: “We’re very excited to welcome Andrew to Sales Geek where he will be in charge of helping businesses in Yorkshire increase their sales using his years of experience in multiple sectors, coupled with proven Sales Geek methodology.”
