Zigaflow backs Red Rose Awards as social media partner

The social reach of this year’s Red Rose Awards has been given a major boost thanks to backing from software firm Zigaflow.

With the Padiham company signing on as social media partner for the event, which takes place at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on June 9, the Red Rose Awards will be able to spread its message even further afield.

In previous years, word of the Red Rose Awards has spread throughout the UK, trending nationally, and into overseas territories. This has helped raise the profile not only of the awards, but of the achievements of the organisations within Lancashire.

Lancashire Business View, the organisers of the awards, has also recruited digital marketing apprentice Helena Heald to help orchestrate output on popular channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Stephen Bolton, commercial director of Lancashire Business View, said: “The Red Rose Awards is all about celebrating Lancashire-based businesses, showcasing them in Lancashire and beyond.

“Social media is a fantastic tool for sharing the success of Red Rose Awards nominated companies and with the backing of Zigaflow we’re able to invest even more effort into this aspect of the programme. Zigaflow is playing a very important role in sharing Lancashire’s successes with the world.”

Zigaflow is an international business automation software specialist which recently posted its best-ever year – with a 129 per cent increase in the number of businesses using Zigaflow software on a long-term basis, resulting in record turnover, a recruitment drive and the opening of a new office.

Euan Aitken, director of sales and marketing at Zigaflow, said: “The great thing about the Red Rose Awards is that it’s a different experience every year. Each new business that is nominated for the Awards brings something new to the table and it’s a really enjoyable night for everyone. I am very excited for Zigaflow to be involved this year.”

Tim Randall, chief executive of Zigaflow, added: “We’re very happy to be the social media sponsor for the Red Rose Awards. The awards are a great way to raise awareness of successful and dynamic businesses in Lancashire, which is why we chose to base our office here, and they give everyone equal opportunity to celebrate their success.”

The Red Rose Awards are in association with Forbes Solicitors and Barclays. The social media partner is Zigaflow. The awards are sponsored by Azets, Alcidion, Bigtank Productions, Cube Thinking, Ewood Experience, Four Recruitment, Fox Group, Harrison Drury Solicitors, Matrix 247, Napthens, Pendle Engineering, Peter Scott Printers, PM+M, Porsche Centre Bolton, Porsche Centre Preston, Sales Geek, The Fun Experts and United Utilities.

The awards are supported by AMRC North West, Chorley Borough Council and Marketing Lancashire.
