CoreRFID continues to build Irish client base with new win

An asset management software firm is maintaining its leading position in Ireland as the supplier of automated safety inspections systems with a new client win.

Lancashire-based CoreRFID is installing its popular CheckedOK system for new start-up Safe Lifting Solutions from County Cork.

CheckedOK enables equipment inspectors to use a mobile or tablet to input data onsite. Data is automatically updated to a secure hosted database and certification documents will be immediately available for online viewing and download. It also assists authorised users meet industry regulations.

Safe Lifting Solutions specialise in safety inspections of plant machinery and lifting equipment under GA1 Regulations as well as Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR), which aim to prevent serious injury from stored energy hazards as a result of the failure of a pressure system or one of its component parts.

CoreRFID has established a strong presence in the Irish lifting and cranes industry for more than 10 years since Dublin-based Hoistech became the first CheckedOK user.

Safe Lifting Solutions’ founder, Noel O’Donovan, chose CheckedOK owing to personal experience of the system’s operational performance in an earlier engineering role.

He says: ‘I’m happy to be working with Munzi and the CoreRFID team again. They’ve ensured that every request I had for the system was realised, and even through challenging times, the CoreRFID team has always been very accessible.’

CoreRFID’s technical sales director Richard Harrison, who works closely with Munzi on CheckedOK projects, says: ‘We’re really pleased to be working with Noel again and delivering a reporting solution that will deliver value for his firm and clients.’
