A new mobile food takeaway van has served its first toasties at a prime Docklands gateway position.
The bright yellow Citroen HY van, called Mr Cheesy, will be located on the Bowker Motorrad car park on Wednesday to Sunday.
The official launch coincided with national National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day on Monday April 12th. The mobile food takeaway will serve a varied menu of breakfasts, luxury toasties, sides and drinks.
For Mr. Cheesy, owner Daniel Fox, said: “As we come out of Lockdown this is the perfect time to offer Preston Docks visitors, shop and office workers a new outdoor food and beverage experience. We are easy to find and perfectly located at the gateway to the docs.
“Customers can pop in to grab a bite before a walk round the dockland basin or during a lunch break from the offices. We’re looking forward to turning new friends into regulars and hope Prestonians will love our food.”
The iconic van was specially imported from France. Ity had previously been used by Michelin before being transformed for its mobile catering destiny in Preston
