Preston business expands team to bring on new brands

A Preston start-up business has expanded to take on three new team members after major growth along with securing key accounts with two major interiors brands.

Just Radiators, part of the Luxus Design group, currently has an in-house team of seven employees developing the business. They have now secured status as an official stockist for high-end brands, Zehnder and Bisque.

Set up by friends Lewis Birch and Dave O’Keefe, Just Radiators sells all styles of radiators online through its website, and in-person at its Preston showroom.

Most recent full-time employees include Sean McLaughlin, who has joined the team as a customer support executive, while Gus Armistead has been recruited as the company’s e-commerce manager. Anthony Hall has also joined the business as a full-time data analyst.

The new additions to Just Radiators’ team have meant that the group company, Luxus Design, has grown from two to seven members of staff in just three months.

And the growth doesn’t stop there, as the company is now looking for an account manager, sales manager and another data analyst to complete its in-house team for this year. This will then bring the total number of full-time employees to ten.

Director Dave O’Keefe said: “We’ve expanded the business quickly in response to the demand we’ve seen – assembling the right team in-house was essential to accommodate growing consumer interest in home improvement projects during the pandemic.

“Becoming an official stockist for luxury brands Zehnder and Bisque is a huge coup for a start-up like ours, as these have been on the top of our wish list from the start. We can now offer the right products to the right customers at competitive prices as we prepare for the busiest time of the year.”

Just Radiators now has Bisque and Zehnder radiators on display in its Preston showroom, which is open to the public Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
