Northern Industrial seeks Five after Ben Promotion

Ben Fordham has been promoted to Site Engineering Manager at Northern Industrial, which is seeking to grow its team by a further five to meet demand for its services.

Blackburn-based Northern Industrial is a multi-award-winning provider of new, reconditioned and obsolete parts and repair services, exporting to 146 countries.  Sourcing from over 1,350 manufacturers, the company covers over 200,000 part numbers and holds approximately £7m in stock.

Ben joined the company in 2015 as a Control Systems Engineer and his promotion will see him taking full responsibility for the management and development of the site engineering team, both in terms of day-to-day operations and longer-term growth.

He said: “Northern Industrial is a great company with a fantastic working environment doing valuable work worldwide.  Due to ever increasing demand, we’re looking to recruit up to five more staff, from trainee to experienced, to join our 90-strong team in Blackburn.

“We’re looking for people who are multi-skilled with both engineering and people skills as they’ll be helping out customers, who are very much coming to us in their technical hour of need, in a wide range of industries.”
