KR Group hires a Group Data and Business Intelligence Director

KR Group, the leading specialist provider of financial solutions to the over 55’s appointed Charlie Moran as Group Data and Business Intelligence Director.

Charlie joins the company following an exceptional track record across data warehousing and analytics within financial services and retail. Most recently his role as Head of Database and Analytics at Sainsbury’s Bank, where he was tasked with leveraging the group’s data asset, across the Argos and Sainsbury’s heritage businesses.

Prior to this, Charlie worked within Home Retail Group for over 10 years in various senior leadership roles such as the database and analysis controller, where he was responsible for delivering the data warehouse capability to a broader user community, both internally and more widely across the Argos Retail Business.

At the KR Group, Charlie will lead multi-functional delivery teams to provide robust insight and data services across the Group and for relevant external stakeholders. He will also be responsible for building the insight and data engineering capability by providing technical leadership for the insight and data community across KR Group. Charlie will report directly to Rob Scott, Chief Finance Officer.
