IFA Acumen Financial Partnership appoints senior adviser

West Lancashire IFA Acumen Financial Partnership has appointed a new senior adviser to cover the Merseyside region.

Helen Whiting brings almost 20 years’ experience as a qualified adviser to the Burscough-based firm, where she will specialise in pensions and investments.

Having joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2000, Helen later worked for wealth management firms FMG in Liverpool and Gee & Watson in Wirral.

Angela Maher, Managing Director of Acumen Financial Partnership, said: “It’s pleasing to add another experienced and talented adviser to our growing team.

“Her appointment means we now have 18 people, including nine qualified advisers and comes six months after we opened our second office in Pilling, North Lancashire.”

Helen, who comes from Heswall in Wirral, will manage and grow Acumen’s client base across Merseyside. She said: “I’m excited about the challenge of this new role and look forward to working closely with our clients in Wirral and Liverpool.”
