Bleep supplies Champions League Final in Madrid

Bleep UK PLC, which has a base in Leyland, installed an EPOS and Payments solution consisting of 80 terminals for the retail stores at the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid.

73 Bleep TS-813 EPOS terminals were deployed, with built-in printers, barcode scanners, and POS media video customer displays, all sending live sales and stock data to Web Back Office. Each EPOS terminal had an Ingenico iPP350 pin pad integrated for ultra-fast and secure contactless payments. This was installed in the retail stores at the fan zones and outside the stadium, the hospitality and VIP areas inside the stadium and the superstore in the heart of Madrid, all selling a range of official and licensed merchandise.

There were also a further 10 Self-Service EPOS Kiosks in the MasterCard VIP area, where VIPs could ‘tap and collect’ by ordering merchandise on the innovative, user-friendly kiosks and pay on their preloaded wristbands, with items then available to collect after the match.

John Wellman, Group CEO of Bleep UK PLC commented: “It was with great pride that we were selected to supply another prestigious world-class event outside of the UK. The final truly was an All-English affair with both Liverpool and Spurs delivering a memorable final on the pitch and Bleep doing what we do best off it.”

“We are the champions when it comes to temporary and pop-up EPOS and Payment solutions for the biggest and best events – all because of our ability to provide fast transactions, secure payments and real-time sales reporting.”
