Local Fuel Company Leading the way in Vehicle Tracking Technology

Southport based fuel business DRIVEcard is expanding into brand new, cutting edge vehicle tracking technology.

DRIVEcard has expanded its offering from fuel cards to now include vehicle tracking and reporting software DRIVEtelematics.

DRIVEtelematics is powered by Kinesis, an award-winning vehicle tracking system that was first launched in 2015 and is now used to track over 120,000 vehicles worldwide.

Developed from the outset as a cloud-based service, Kinesis represents a new generation of vehicle telematics; simple to use, affordable and with easy access anywhere in the world.

“We are really pleased to sign up DRIVEcard as they are the ideal partner for us – full of passion, enthusiasm and genuinely excited about the benefits Kinesis telematics can bring to their customers,” said Jez Strong, Global Strategic Alliance Director at Radius Payment Solutions.

“There is real synergy between us, and DRIVEcard customers fit the Kinesis mould perfectly; requiring modern, affordable and easy to use vehicle tracking solutions that integrate with fuelcard data.”

DRIVEtelematics offers insights into everything you need to know about your vehicles. Track every vehicle in your fleet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all from within the app, monitor the behaviour of your drivers, including speeding and harsh acceleration, view dashcam footage, access journey playback, the possibilities are truly endless.

DRIVEtelematics has created a new job within the new branch; Candice Patterson, a former Customer Relations Executive for DRIVEcard, now heads up the department.

Helen Henderson, Operations Director of DRIVEcard and DRIVEtelematics said: “We’re delighted to bring Telematics on board as we know it will be of interest to many of our existing customers.

“The Telematics can be linked to customers existing fuel cards, so not only can our customers receive important information and reports on their vehicles and their drivers, but they can also track their fuel usage by linking their fuel cards to the Telematics software.

“This gives our customers real and unique insights into their usage and how they can save a lot of money for their business with the fuel card integration.”
