NOF to host event with key Northern energy leaders

The NOF, a not-for-profit organisation that helps business in the energy sector make valuable connections, is to host a networking lunch on 8 May in Durham for key Northern figures in the energy sector.

The event, held at the Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham, will feature a key note presentation from Van Oord, including an overview of the company; their projects (current & future); their strategy going forward and how to do business with Van Oord and/or MPI Offshore.

Van Oord is an Independent family-owned business and 2018 was a special year for them, as they celebrated their 150th anniversary. As a global maritime contractor, Van Oord focuses on dredging, oil & gas infrastructure and offshore wind, offering innovative solutions to marine challenges.

In 2018, Van Oord acquired the MPI Offshore organisation, a specialist offshore wind installation contractor. The acquisition included the MPI Offshore organisation in Stokesley (United Kingdom), the first purpose built offshore installation vessels, MPI Resolution and the MPI Adventure, and associated crew.

MPI Offshore has a strong track record with partnering leading developers and utility companies in numerous wind-farm-construction projects.

To attend this unique and focused event, please register your interest via Eventbrite.
