Lyndhurst gains Rolls Royce PLC supplier approval

Chorley-based Lyndhurst Precision Engineering has achieved Rolls Royce PLC approved supplier status.

The accreditation follows an extended partnership between Lyndhurst and Rolls Royce PLC, which saw LyndhurstPrecision work on several projects with the prestigious Aerospace and Marine systems manufacturer. Lyndhurst will now be an approved member of the Rolls Royce PLC supply chain and continue with its work across the aerospace firm’s civil projects, offering industry-leading solutions.

Lyndhurst Precision Engineering works with a variety of blue chip organisations in numerous key sectors, including nuclear, aerospace and defence, automotive, renewable energy, food and medical, creating bespoke engineering solutions from its state-of-the-art Lancashire facility.

Mark Marriner, managing director, Lyndhurst Precision Engineering, said: “This accreditation by one of the global leaders in aerospace and engineering signifies Lyndhurst’s standing in the engineering industry. The commitment and problem solving ability of the design, project and manufacturing engineers here is second to none and is why organisations like Rolls Royce PLC come to us.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Rolls Royce PLC, who have utilised our services via third party Companies on a number of occasions over the past few years. This accreditation will ensure that we continue to develop a strong partnership, hopefully long into the future.”
