Lancashire businesswomen collaborate to support local businesses with online skills

Two award-winning Lancashire business owners have teamed up to support businesses in the county to increase their visibility and sales using online video.

Liz Hardwick Co-Founder of Digital Training and Services company DigiEnable, and Susanna Boccaccio, Creative Director of production and events company Brilliant Trees Media decided to create this one-off workshop to showcase the collaboration possible between Digital and Creative businesses. Liz and Susanna are also on the boards of Digital Lancashire and Creative Lancashire respectively and see this workshop as an opportunity to open up more dialogue and collaboration between the sectors.

The female entrepreneurs are offering local business owners the opportunity to join them for a morning of learning in Preston on the 20th March, to explore how businesses can use video to promote themselves and increase their revenue through online marketing. The pair decided to run the event in March “as a month celebrating women, it felt like a fantastic time to come together and showcase what female business owners can do when they collaborate.”

Liz Hardwick, said: “Having a background in broadcasting I think it’s great to see more creative and digital sectors working together. There are so many crossovers with technology now, that working together seems like the best way to future proof business.”

Susanna Boccaccio added: “With so many businesses now realising Video is crucial to their marketing strategy, it’s great to work together to share with local businesses our expert knowledge in this area and how simple it can be to get started.”
