HeliSpeed is a leader in the aviation support industry

Global aviation business, HeliSpeed, based at the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone, is approaching a decade of success, with its bespoke aviation support offerings.

Founded in 2009, HeliSpeed connects aviation operators with appropriately vetted and fully trained pilots. The aviation expert’s pool of experienced pilots are supplied to Governments, blue chip organisations, commercial operators and VIPs around the world. The firm’s outstanding matching service utilises its leading contract performance database, HeliTrax, in order to match helicopter pilots with operators, based on their contractual requirements.

HeliSpeed also helps lessors and brokers in the aviation industry, through their innovative support services including flight testing, acceptance and repositioning of aircraft and asset management.

Gemma Walker, Operations Director, Helispeed, said: “HeliSpeed lets pilots focus on flying and operators concentrate on operating, We currently have over 700 pilots stationed around the world, with certifications to operate more than 90 different types of helicopter and we’re continuously seeking to add experienced pilots to our team.

“Our innovative HeliTrax software gives pilots access to appropriate short and long term contracts, as well as providing operators with real time information and verified HeliSpeed recommended pilots.

“We can provide organisations around the world with highly qualified and experienced pilots at short notice. We believe we are the only organisation in the world with such a large pilot offering and bespoke service.”
