Lloyd BMW hosts preview evenings for new X5 and 8 Series

Lloyd BMW hosted a number of preview evenings showcasing the newly updated X5 and the brand-new BMW 8 Series across their Blackpool, Colne and South Lakes dealerships.

The flagship 8 series model further expands BMW’s range into the luxury performance car market, first engineered for the racetrack, resulting in a powerful, dynamic and exhilarating package, which has now been developed as a luxury Coupé and not seen since 1999.

Whilst the new X5 features the sharp handling characteristics of its predecessors as well as an updated, contemporary exterior and interior. Technology is prominent in the latest X5 version, with BMW’s intelligent four-wheel drive system, xDrive, as standard, whilst electronically controlled dampers and air suspension keep the ride smooth and stable.

Each of the Lloyd dealerships entertained guests in different ways. Lloyd South Lakes invited customers to enjoy a refreshing gin bar as well as delicious mini fish & chips where as Lloyd Colne provided a sensational Indian buffet. Lloyd Blackpool chose to host their annual Christmas Market on the same evening giving guests the opportunity to not only preview the brand-new models but also enjoy a selection of festive stalls from local Businesses selling a wonderful selection of local goods & produce.

Stephanie de Looze, Lloyd BMW’s Marketing Manager, said: “The preview evenings, showcasing these incredible new models were a fantastic success at all sites. Guests enjoyed great food and an exclusive first look at the latest additions to the already exceptional BMW Range.

“Both the 8 Series and X5 received marvellous receptions across our Lloyd BMW sites, with a lot of interest in both of the luxury models. As always, we would like to thank our guests for attending these fabulous events and well done to Lloyd Blackpool, Lloyd Colne and Lloyd South Lakes for putting on a good show.”
