MCK Contract Services builds on strong foundations

Burnley-based MCK Contract Services Ltd. is celebrating, following a bumper second year of trading for the firm. Turnover for the construction specialist has increased 20% and the firm’s portfolio of clients has grown threefold.

Founded in 2016 by Michael Preston, MCK Contract Services offers a range of construction-based services, including project management, quantity surveying, health and safety audits, pre-qualification questionnaires, tendering and estimating.

Key projects include project management work for United Utilities, on developments worth more than £500k, as well as securing other projects for clients totalling over £3m, for Everton Football Club’s new training ground stand, upgrading to the Heli-pad at Royal Preston Hospital and highways developments at Fulwood Retail Park.

The Construction specialist has also contributed to a number of fundraising initiatives, most recently sponsoring the match ball at the Lenny Johnrose charity match between former Burnley Football Club and Swansea City Football Club players, an event that raised more than £10,000 for the Len Johnrose Trust.

Michael Preston, Founder, MCK Contract Services, said: “It has been a fantastic first two years of trading, we’ve worked on exciting projects across the North-West and further afield.

“Our increase in turnover, based on the prominent projects we have worked on and secured for our clients, exemplifies our rapid growth and strong credibility within the construction industry.

“As we grow, it’s important to give back to the community and we will continue to sponsor and support many worthy causes in the future.”
