Local Estate Agents Petty’s are celebrating their 90th anniversary this year and have been marking the occasion with various events throughout the year. As part of their 90th year celebrations Petty’s stated that all residential properties listed between 1st April 2018 and the 30th September 2018 would be entered into two quarterly draws where the successful winners would pay a sale commission of only £90.00. The first draw took place in July and Sara and Michael Alexander from Barnoldswick were the lucky winners.
The winner this time is would be property developer Chris Hargreaves from Rossendale. Chris bought a house in Burnley and totally refurbished it in order to then sell the property.
Paramedic Chris, said: “It’s taken almost 11 months of late nights and weekends to refurbish the property. I’ve done all the work with a colleague and with the help of family and friends in order to try and keep costs down. Winning this is a real boost and I’m already thinking that the money I’ve saved with this win I may just re-invest and buy another property!”
