Based in Whalley, Theresa lives on the doorstep of the Lancashire based shoe firm and has spent many years as a Wynsors’ customer shopping for school shoes for her children.

“Wynsors is a well-established business that has employees with long service and it has an energy about it which fits my personality, so I’m very passionate about this new role.

“If I could give any advice to young women who are starting out in a business, it would be to believe in yourself. There are big opportunities out there for those who work hard and stay focused.

“I would always encourage others to follow their passion – that way you want to come to work every day.”

Mark Butterworth, Wynsors secretary, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Theresa to the Wynsors team. As a family focused business, Theresa is someone who aligns with the core values at the heart of the business; creativity, hard work and a family friendly culture.”
