Local community radio station 103.5 Beyond Radio shows support for arts and comedy in Morecambe

North Lancashire based radio station 103.5 Beyond Radio has announced its support of the 2nd Morecambe Fringe Festival which will showcase some spectacular comedy, workshops, theatre and kids shows which will take place across various venues around Morecambe’s West End between the 1st September and 9th September 2018.

Speaking on behalf of Beyond Radio, Nathan Hill the radio station’s Commercial Director, said: “Morecambe is known worldwide for entertainment and some of the country’s best entertainers have performed here in years gone by, it’s great that Beyond Radio can show its support for local arts performers and performances, it’s part of the fabric of what our radio station is all about.”

The event is organised by local comedian Matt Panesh who is keen to build on last year’s success by making this fringe festival bigger and better by introducing a wider variety of acts and venues. Matt said: “This new relationship between the Fringe Festival and Beyond Radio means that we can add another element to our line up, it will help us circulate information to our audience too.”
