Chorley removal firm helps TV couple start new life

Chorley based removals and storage firm Andrew Porter Ltd will feature in the latest series of The Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes, helping a couple relocate across the country.

The popular More4 series follows daily life for residents of two of the UK’s most famous and well-loved national parks.

In episode eight, airing tonight at 9pm, a crew from Andrew Porter Ltd helps Pete and Rona with their four-bedroom house move from Windermere in Cumbria to Austwick in North Yorkshire, as they embark on their new lives as tenant farmers.

Managing director Tim Aspey, said: “Our crew Joe and Paul loved the experience and we can’t wait to see them on TV!  Pete and Rona are a fantastic couple and we wish them every success in their new home and with their new venture.”

Andrew Porter Ltd, headquartered on Huyton Road, Adlington, has been providing removals services throughout the UK and across the world for 45 years.
