Preston-based signage experts, Lustalux, have completed their latest vehicle signage project – vinyl wrapping electric cars for the Government of St. Lucia.
The nationwide specialists have experienced growing popularity in vehicle signage among UK businesses, but were recently tasked with one of their more unconventional projects from the international client.
Following recommendation, the Lustalux team had the exciting task of tweaking the existing design, printing and installing vinyl graphics onto four fully electric Nissan vehicles headed for the Caribbean.
Clearly on a ‘green’ offensive, the designs for the St.Lucian government, featuring bright and distinctive vinyl graphics depict the hotter climates they’re being transported to as they cross the Atlantic.
Lustalux Managing Director, Richard Lancaster, said: “We enjoy regularly working with our clients in every corner of the UK, but to work on such a different and exotic task was a great opportunity for our team.”
With electric vehicle sales expected to set a new record in 2018, it’s unlikely that this will be the last project of it’s kind for the signage experts. According to their website, the St.Lucian government are executing a number of energy saving initiatives to tackle climate change.
Lancaster added: “It’s fantastic to see that, for such a small island, St.Lucia are actively taking steps towards reducing their carbon footprint. The project really was a pleasure for us to be involved in.”
