Developer forges on with new homes in Halton, Lancaster

Work has begun at a new housing development in Halton, Lancaster. Forge Weir View is the first residential development for Wrenman Homes, a local developer with over 20 years commercial build experience with sister company VMC Developments.

Headed up by Warren and Vanessa Cadman, Wrenman Homes will build fifty exclusive 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family homes alongside 10 affordable properties for the village.

The site, located just off Low Road, has been designed with a local supply chain in mind, commissioning design from award winning JMP Architects and brand/ marketing support from Factored design studio. The local emphasis continues through to the supply of materials and contractors thanks to partnerships with Havwoods and renowned SieMatic kitchens from Mark Leigh.

“As residents of Halton village, we recognise the need for high quality homes in the area. Halton provides the perfect location for growing families, close enough to Lancaster to benefit from all the City Centre has to offer but in a semi-rural setting to explore the AONB. Better still, the new link road connects Forge Weir View to the M6 in just two minutes” says Warren Cadman.

“We’re really excited about our new development. The properties are a great blend of modern design fused with traditional materials and will offer Lancaster something incredibly different to the usual new build developments. Best of all, our focus on local ensures there’s a wider benefit for the district” says Vanessa Cadman.

Forge Weir View has already attracted a lot of interest with over 150 registered individuals before the release of phase 1 and 2.
