A local woodworking business has seen 500% sales increase in the first quarter of 2018 based on the same period last year, after showcasing their product range at an International Trade Show.
William Firth Woodcraft is an independent woodworking workshop based in the village of Scorton, in Lancashire. Throughout the first quarter of 2018, the business has seen over 500% increase in turnover based on the same time period in 2017, and are set to double their annual turnover this year, considerably overtaking initial targeted sales.
January 2018 saw the business attend International Trade Show, Top Drawer, held at Olympia London. After huge success, the business has taken a number of orders from new stockists as well as Breweries and Hospitality clients up and down the country. Off the back of the success of the great start to the year, the business have announced their upcoming attendance at both the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival held in Harrogate in July, and are also set to attend Top Drawer again, in January 2019.
William Firth said: “2017 saw us expand our product range and start to prepare for what we hoped would be a fantastic start to 2018. We didn’t anticipate the success that we’ve had, but we’re working harder than ever to continue our growth and we are really excited to continue to work to our goals, including employing staff and increasing our workshop space in the near future.”
