Launch of Burnley Business Week (14-18 May)

Following 2017’s successful week of business related events, with over 200 businesses participating, the Burnley Business Week will once again take place in Burnley, between 14-18 May 2018.

Lancashire based Cyber Security experts, Xcina Ltd, a leading UK digital resilience company, is the headline sponsors of the 2018 event, which is also supported by a number of other business partners.

Burnley Business Week offers a programme of free business learning, development and thought-provoking events, hosted by leading practitioners, as well as giving an opportunity for local businesses of all sizes to network and get to know one another.

Councillor Sue Graham, Burnley Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration & Economic Development, said: “It’s important for us to support our local business community and the range of support packed into Business Week is designed to help our businesses achieve their long term growth aspirations as well as learning new money saving initiatives. Business Week provides something for every type and size of enterprise and also showcases some of the fantastic businesses and facilities in the town who have joined us as partners in the week.

“Burnley is a great place for businesses to be based and everyone who attends these free events will certainly benefit from the advice of people who have been there and done that, in terms of developing and growing their business.

“I’d like to thank Xcina Ltd. and our other business partners for supporting us in this exciting initiative.”

Kevin Porter, Business Development Director at Xcina, added: “Xcina is delighted to be sponsoring the Burnley Business Week. We will be meeting a host of fantastic companies based in the Burnley area, one of the most dynamic and enterprising areas of Lancashire.
