Signage is top trunks for Blackpool Zoo

Links Signs and Graphics has top trunked Blackpool Zoo’s new multi-million-pound Elephant House with the installation of new signs and graphics.

The Blackpool based firm helped design, manufacture and install new signage including a fascia, large official opening print and information signs for the freshly renovated elephant house.

Links Signs & Graphics also helped improve existing signage at the popular attraction, with the installation of signs across the Zoo, including re-dressing existing double angled signs and 26 new information signs for the Dinosaur Safari at Blackpool Zoo.

Carl Bennett, Director, Links Signs and Graphics, said: “We were delighted to have supplied and installed high-quality signs to the new Elephant House and in other areas at Blackpool Zoo.

“In total, we had four men working on the installations over three days to ensure everything was installed on time. We are very active in the leisure industry and the lead up to the Easter Holidays is always a very busy one, but seeing the finished products in place and hearing the great feedback from our clients gives us great satisfaction and is why we love doing what we do.”

Misty Nicholson, Interpretation and Communications Officer, Blackpool Zoo, added: ”Blackpool Zoo has a long-standing relationship with Links Signs and Graphics, based on the high quality, reliable service they consistently offer.

“However, throughout the development of Project Elephant, our biggest ever investment, Links has truly surpassed all expectations. Like an extension of our team, they have worked relentlessly to deliver intensive requirements, printing and installing impeccably every time. We think the results speak for themselves.”
