Joanne’s got Lancashire weddings covered

An award-winning Lancashire business has celebrated their 7th birthday by expanding their product range.

Joanne Smith runs the Lancashire franchise of Simply Bows and Chair Covers and celebrated their 7th year in business last week. In November 2016, Joanne made the move from working at home to opening her first showroom in Hoghton, near Chorley.

Joanne, said: “I had always worked from home, storing stock in my garage and working from my spare room, but as demand increased and stock grew I was rapidly running out of space. When I came across the showroom in Hoghton, I knew it was the perfect place to operate from. Not only can I store all my stock there but it is perfectly situated 5 minutes away from the M6 & M65 for Brides & Grooms to come and view our products for their impending weddings.”

As the business continues to grow and thanks to demand, Joanne decided to invest of a range of chiavari chairs, which are proving popular with both her B2C and B2B clients. Joanne, added: “We already offered a range of accessories designed to specifically fit these range of chairs and I was sub contracting the chairs from other suppliers so it just made sense to make the investment myself and have full control over the quality and delivery of the products.”

With hundreds of weddings already under Joanne’s belt in the 7 years she has been operating, she has also dressed weddings for Coronation Street and numerous celebrity weddings throughout the County as well as supporting local charity events.
