ICS turns focus to local accountancy and payroll services

Lancaster-based, ICS Accounting will be placing a more localised focus on their traditional SME accountancy services.

Alongside their local accountancy services, ICS will also be placing more emphasis on the payroll services they offer.

Sam Price will be heading up the business accounting side of their operation, whilst Sarah Spooner will head up the payroll team.

John Lyon, Managing Director at ICS, felt their years of experience as a nationwide contractor and freelancer accountancy will benefit local businesses.

He said: “We have built a national brand over the last 15 years, establishing ourselves as experts in accounting for contractors and freelancers across the country.

“The skills and experience that have allowed us to succeed in the contractor’s arena have attracted a base of clients from all walks of business, so we felt well placed to launch locally focused services for SME’s.”

The company, who are based at Lancaster Business Park, will be continuing to service their longstanding contractor and freelance clients but will now be pushing their local accountancy and payroll services more aggressively.

Sam Price, Head of Business Accounting at ICS said: “I am really excited to be leading this new venture. We use the latest technology, combined with excellent customer service, so we offer something different to a whole host of existing accounting firms.

“Over the past few years, we have taken on a broader range of clients, utilising the expertise and experience we have in-house. From 2018 the start we have established a new team and are more actively promoting these services.”
