Ribchester based KeyFleet has announced its participation in the East Lancashire Hospice Corporate Challenge 2018.
The challenge involves 25 companies competing against each other to raise as much money as possible within a 6-month period. Participating companies will be given £50 to kickstart their fundraising, thanks to Organic Insurance who are once again the headline sponsor of the challenge.
The challenge will run from the 1st of April until the 30th of September, with the winners announced in October at an awards ceremony. Business support is key to the hospice as it has to raise £3.7 million pounds a year to keep its doors open.
East Lancashire Hospice provides a variety of care services to patients with life limiting illnesses from Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe. Services include an inpatient unit, end of life care, physiotherapy, counselling and support for the patients’ families. East Lancashire Hospice is a great cause which is close to many hearts in the community who have had family members lovingly cared for at the hospice.
Marc McLoughlin, Managing Director of KeyFleet said: “We are avid supporters of East Lancashire Hospice, they are a fab charity to work with and we are looking forward to using the KeyFleet team spirit to raise as much money as possible for local patients in our community”
Jennifer Quinn, Corporate Fundraiser of the East Lancashire Hospice said: “We are delighted that KeyFleet are supporting the hospice with this wonderful donation. Not only are they now one of our Pledge partners, they have signed up to take part in our Corporate Challenge. Local company support is vital to the sustainability of the hospice and our special way of caring, so we are proud to be associated with generous, community minded businesses, like Key Fleet. To MD, Marc McLoughlin and all the team, thank you so much for your valued support.”
