accessplanit wins training software excellence award

accessplanit, the Lancaster-based training management software house, saw its training success platform win the Bronze Excellence Award at the ‘Excellence in Technology’ program.

The cloud-based course management tool, which launched just last year, cuts administration time by at least 50% by automating manual processes. The system – which replaces the company’s previous Course Manager software – was developed to meet the needs of modern-day training professionals, featuring real-time reporting and insights, a powerful Workflow engine and easy-to-use online course booking across a mobile-responsive interface.

Now entering its 17th year, the former training company-turned-software developer also opted for a collaborative approach during initial development: Around half of all new features were suggested by training professionals, and implemented by the accessplanit team.

It was an approach that, according to managing director Dave Evans, ‘helps makes our customers’ lives unmistakably easier’ by offering software that answers real-world, industry-specific needs.

All of which helped the company net the prestigious Bronze Excellence Award for ‘Best Advance in Software for a Training Company.’

After the results were announced, Evans said: “This is a fantastic way to launch us into the new year. What I admire most about this great industry is the universal commitment to continuous improvement – whether it’s developing the talents of individual delegates, enhancing the skills and abilities of training professionals, or training software developers like us. So, to win “Best Advance in Software for a Training Company” means a lot to me, personally.”

He added: “I’m incredibly impressed by the dedication of everyone here at accessplanit, whose hard work enabled us to make these award-winning advances. And now we’re gearing up to showcase the accessplanit training success platform at LearnTech 2018.”

Run by research and analyst firm Brandon Hall, the Excellence in Technology Awards recognises ‘the best organizations that have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.’
