Valley Living to go national with Twentyone

Valley Living has appointed Blackburn digital marketing agency Twentyone to help promote and sell stylish dining accessories and gifts from its Clitheroe shop to a national audience.

Valley Living’s high street retail outlet on Market Place, Clitheroe was established in February 2017 by Ribble Valley-born Audrey Spencer, who credits the local area’s award-winning producers, purveyors and restaurateurs of fine food as her inspiration, alongside her own career in the hospitality industry, working at the highest level.

Audrey says: “I grew up on my family’s farm in the Ribble Valley, which was where I first gained an appreciation of life’s finer pleasures.  Mealtimes there would often involve being joined by friends, family and neighbours, all eager to enjoy the wonderful farmhouse fayre.

“After qualifying as a chef, I gained a wealth of hospitality experience in first-class venues, from award-winning restaurants to boutique country-house hotels and even the Royal Palace.

“Eventually, I decided to channel my passion and expertise into making that same quality dining and lifestyle accessible to everyone – and with that, Valley Living was born.”

Audrey has now commissioned Twentyone to bring her collection to a national audience.

Agency head Sam Fletcher says: “The new site will be fully ecommerce enabled, and will feature the details of the individual artisans behind the products so customers can fully appreciate and understand the heritage and craftsmanship that goes into each collection.  Each product has a story to tell and we’re looking to really bring that out in the website.”

The agency will also be seeking to promote the products by linking with Audrey’s own story and history as a chef and her passion for food.  Audrey’s recipes will be promoted by social media, providing links into related products, aiming to develop a customer following around the Ribble Valley’s heritage and fame for food.

Audrey says: “I’ve personally handpicked everything you’ll see in our collections, both in the shop and online: a beautiful selection of homeware accessories and gifts from a range of skilled designers, artisans and craftspeople, many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in person.

“These passionate creatives use their expertly honed talents to transform artistic visions into original pieces, infused with a fascinating, individual sense of character.  Predominately British-designed and made, every piece has a rich provenance with its own little story to tell, making them add that special little something to any home.”

With a team of eight based at Trident Way, Twentyone provides web design, web development, SEO, Google AdWords, conversion rate optimisation, digital consultancy, social media marketing and email marketing.  Established in 2003, the agency’s client experience includes Recycling Lives, Burnley FC, Nelson & Colne College and Savoy Timber.
