Burnley based employee attains Master of Science status

The Samuel James Group is pleased to announce that Marketing and PR Executive Philip Ghayour from Burnley has attained a Master of Science (MSc.) in Marketing from Lancaster University.

Prior to undertaking the MSc., Philip studied for three years to become a graduate in journalism from Salford University. Philip has also worked at BBC Radio Lancashire, Clitheroe Football Club and Accrington Stanley Football Club.

Commenting on his Masters, Philip said: “I’m delighted to have received my Masters qualification. It took 12 months of hard work, but it has paid off, since it has positioned me brilliantly to further my career in marketing and public relations. I hope that all my classmates have had similar success and that they are also able to pursue their dreams.

“Whilst my education was achieved further afield, I’m currently based at the Burnley Football Club Business Hub for my employer, The Samuel James Group and I am pleased to be back in my home town.

“We’re very proud of Philip.” added Andrew Mann, Director, The Samuel James Group. “Since joining The Samuel James Group, he has demonstrated a thorough knowledge and ability within marketing and public relations, which is being utilized for the benefit of our clients. His attainment of the Master of Science comes as no surprise to us.”
