Catapult PR Celebrates 13 Award Nominations!

Lancashire-based PR and marketing agency, Catapult PR, has achieved a unique feat this autumn, by being shortlisted in all three of the top PR and marketing awards schemes in the north, clocking up an incredible 13 nominations.

Following news of five shortlistings in the CIM Northern Awards, organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Catapult is heading into November with 13 awards shortlistings in total, in the three most prestigious PR and marketing awards for northern agencies.

Along with its five shortlistings in the CIM Northern Awards, Catapult has four shortlistings in the CIPR PRide Awards and another four in the Northern Marketing Awards.

In the CIM Northern Awards, Catapult PR has been shortlisted for B2C Campaign, Best Integrated Campaign, Best Use of Creative, Best Campaign and Best Consultant.

In the CIPR PRide Awards it is shortlisted for Community Relations Campaign, Integrated Campaign, Best Use of Photography and Design and Outstanding Independent Practitioner.

The categories in which it is shortlisted in the Northern Marketing Awards are: Best Tourism and Leisure, Best Low Budget, Best CSR and Best B2C.

Catapult PR’s managing director, Jane Hunt, says: “We currently have 24 awards and our aim in 2017 was to try to make that a nice round number of 25.  Hopefully, with 13 chances to do that now, we will achieve or even exceed that goal.

“Hopefully, we’re putting out a message that there’s really no need for northern businesses to take their marketing spend to a city-based agency.  If we can shift perceptions of rural-based PR and marketing agencies, it will have been a good year’s work.”
