Preston based media business launches new brand

Local business, The Samuel James Group, has today unveiled the latest edition to its portfolio of brands – The Press Release People agency.

This new agency’s vision is to provide a realistic and cost-effective press release service to help companies, particularly SMEs in Lancashire, raise their profile and shout about their successes and achievements.

The Press Release People agency was previously part of the marketing services brand of The Samuel James Group and already has an extensive list of clients, who they work closely with to develop informative and exciting stories.

The Samuel James Group’s latest marque joins the already successful brands of Business Lancashire, Business Manchester, Your Wedding Day Lancashire and Your Startup Lancashire.

“This is an exciting time for us” commented Andy Mann, Director, The Samuel James Group. “We’re going through a significant period of growth and the confidence we have to introduce a stand-alone brand, devoted to raising the profile of Lancashire businesses, demonstrates that.

“The development of the brand was a team effort and we believe we have the necessary experience and skill sets in place to make a real success of serving businesses across the county.

“The new agency will be led by myself and I have nearly thirty years’ experience of writing press releases and placing them with the relevant national, trade and local media, for three FTSE companies – BAE Systems; Meggitt and Yorkshire Electricity.

“I will be supported by Phil Ghayour, who has a degree in journalism from the University of Salford and will later in the year, be awarded his MSc. in Marketing from Lancaster University.

“We believe that we are offering a niche service – a fixed fee per release, so that it is easily scalable, whilst the client always knows the cost of the commitment and can set measurable performance criteria. If you want to cost effectively raise your company’s profile, give us a try, for less than the cost of a small advert. You will not be disappointed.
