William Firth Woodcraft supplies to Bells of Lazonby to kick off National Baking Week

Lancaster-based William Firth Woodcraft has supplied Breadboards to Bells of Lazonby, ahead of a social media campaign running to the end of 2017, launching in National Baking Week.

The campaign will see Booths customers using Bells of Lazonby’s Artisan Sourdough Bread range at home to create their own recipes and showcase these on social media, using the hash tag #useyourloaf.. Each post will be entered into a weekly draw and a winner will be announced every week for the rest of 2017.

Bells were keen to use a local business to supply the prizes and so asked William Firth Woodcraft to be involved. Each Breadboard has been made completely by hand out of European Oak, and etched in advance of the launch of the campaign on 16th October.

Bells of Lazonby’s Marketing Manager, Emily Sudell, said; “Will was a pleasure to work with and was very quick to respond to the brief. He worked within our exact requirements and met our deadlines. It was great to be able to use a local producer to coincide with our local #useyourloaf competition, where we have teamed up with regional supermarket, Booths to promote our new artisan sourdough bread range. We’re sure these beautiful prizes will make the social media campaign a success and drive people to engage!”

William Firth said; “It was a real privilege to work with such a successful business; we were thrilled to be asked to be part of the campaign and we are very pleased with the outcome of the work. We hope that the winners of each prize draw will be very happy with their prize!”

The campaign being led by Bells of Lazonby launches Monday 16th October 2017 across social media until the end of 2017.
