Petty invest in expansion of staff

Local property experts Petty’s have recently expanded their staff numbers across all sectors of their business with three new members and several apprentices being taken on at the firm.

Fiona Head has become Property Inspector in the Lettings Agency. Kirsty Donovan is the new Sales Negotiator at Colne and Scott Taylor is the new Trainee Surveyor within the Commercial Agency.

Ian Bythell a Director at Petty’s said: “Demand in our area within the Commercial, Residential and Lettings sectors means we always have to stay ahead of the game and ensure we have the right staff to service that demand.

“We take training and staff retention very seriously and see investing in our employees as investing in the company as a whole. As the areas only recognised member of the Relocation Agents Network it’s vital we recruit and retain the right staff.

“This demonstrates to staff that we want to help them develop their careers, but is also reassuring to our customers who know that we focus on our unique levels of service and offer them greater continuity.”

Ian added: “Petty’s also has to look to the future and bringing through the next generation of qualified agents and that’s why this year, with the help of Themis and Training Station, we have also started three apprentices.”

Eighteen year old Zoe Parkinson will be employed as an Apprentice Property Manager. Nineteen year old Rebecca Westwell as an Apprentice Administrator and seventeen year old Isobel Heap will be an apprentice Sales Negotiator in Colne.
