Local finance manager celebrates award

Sheryl Armer is celebrating winning the Financial Services category at the EVAs held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. The Personal Insolvency Manager at Blackpool firm Adcroft Hilton picked up the award at The EVAs, which are premier awards for women in business in the North West.

On hearing of the win, Sheryl thanked her team, and said she was so proud to be recognised in a strong field of finalists, including her colleague Sonya Brannigan.

Rosalind Hilton, managing director of Adcroft Hilton Ltd, said: “I am delighted that Sheryl won this award. It is recognition for all her hard work and shows what anyone can achieve. I was so proud of Sheryl and Sonya for making it to the final shortlist for the award, but for one of them to win is amazing.”

Sheryl has worked for Adcroft Hilton for 12 years, having started as an admin assistant. She has worked her way up the ladder and now manages the office as well as being responsible for the firm’s personal insolvency clients. She takes immense pride in helping clients through challenging times and getting their finances back on track, and it seems her passion for the job shone through to the judging panel.

Following the win, Sheryl was almost speechless, but is delighted to be recognised for her achievements so far.
