Thousands sign up for exclusive student shopping event

With less than one week to go, students across Lancashire are gearing up in anticipation for Preston’s student shopping and leisure event of the year.

The St George’s Student ShopFest event will take-over Preston’s premier shopping centre between 6pm–9pm next Tuesday, 3 October.

With exclusive discounts from national and independent retailers, ShopFest promises to be an event to remember.

In addition to retail offers, the shopping centre will come alive with a DJ set from celebrity fashionista Gok Wan, performances from live musicians and the city’s best nightclub DJs, guests from Preston North End FC, spooky characters from Scare Kingdom and Tower Dungeon and much more…plus, one lucky attendee will walk away with £1,000 in cash.

Centre manager Andrew Stringer, said: “With just a week to go preparations are well under way to ensure that guests attending ShopFest have a night to remember. Our retailers have once again pulled out all the stops to offer outstanding discounts – coupled with Gok’s attendance and incredible activity around the centre, we’re in for a really great night.”

Tickets are free and available online from ShopFestPreston.co.uk  HERE.
