Local company helps RSPCA Preston and District Branch

Chorley based Interact IT, the former CIC Solutions, recently changed their name, to reflect their increased emphasis on software development and artificial intelligence activities. However, whilst going through a hectic time with their rebranding, Interact IT could not ignore a plea for help from animal welfare charity, RSPCA Preston and District Branch, when they contacted them to ask if they would consider building them a new website.

Commented Darren Bentham, MD, Interact IT: “Helping a charity and giving something back to your local community is a key part of being a socially responsible company. At Interact IT, we certainly like to practice what we preach, so we were delighted to be able to help the RSPCA Preston and District Branch when they approached us.

“As a rescue dog owner myself, I appreciate the work the RSPCA Preston and District Branch does and look forward to working with them in the future, if they ever need an upgrade or further maintenance.”

Added John Alan Wareing, from RSPCA Preston and District Branch: “Though part of a national organisation, the RSPCA Preston and District Branch is a self-funding, separately registered charity, based in the heart of Lancashire.

“Our mission is to provide safe homes to abandoned, neglected or abused animals, to nurse them back to health, rehabilitate them, and find them their forever home. But our job is never easy, since the volume of unwanted animals just keeps getting higher and the Centre’s running costs now averages £25,000 a month.

“We are therefore very grateful to Interact IT for their generous gesture, since every penny helps. A new website was desperately needed and this one looks fantastic. But don’t take my word for it, please visit us on www.rspca-preston.org.uk
