ROUNDHOUSE DRIVES FORWARD THIRD MOMENTUM SCHEME

Lancashire-based Roundhouse Properties (Roundhouse) has secured planning to develop its latest Momentum development at South Rings, Bamber Bridge near Preston.

Planning has been granted by South Ribble Borough Council for 42,000 sq ft high quality commercial accommodation in units ranging from 650 sq ft up to 900 sq ft. This marks the third Momentum branded scheme for the company with two other sites at Buckshaw Village and South Rings.

Working with Cassidy & Ashton architects, structural engineers Partington Associates and newly appointed property agency, Robert Pinkus, Roundhouse is looking to start construction immediately with completion due towards the end of the year.

Speaking about this latest development, Jeremy Lefton, director at Roundhouse Properties, commented: “There is significant demand from SMEs for good quality accommodation in this area of Preston. Based on the demand we witnessed at both Buckshaw and the recently completed scheme at South Rings, we have amended the design to accommodate more smaller businesses.”

Danny Pinkus, partner at commercial property firm, Robert Pinkus, continued: “Having always regarded Roundhouse Properties as a highly respected business that produces an excellent product, it’s a pleasure to be now to be working with them to bring forward their next Momentum Business Centre. The location and specification is such that I believe that this scheme will be of interest to many businesses which are looking for a space in which to grow and be part of a wider business community.”
