SIGNATURE MOTORHOMES AND LEISURE JOINS ADRIA MOTORHOMES DEALER NETWORK

Signature Motorhomes and Leisure of Preston has been appointed as an Adria Motorhomes main dealer.  Adria has been manufacturing recreational vehicles for over 50 years and frequently wins awards for design, innovation, quality and value for money.

Michael Hardicker, Managing Director of Signature Motorhomes and Leisure commented, ‘Having been impressed by the quality and extensive range of models available from Adria we are delighted to now be a part of the UK Dealer Network.  Two of our team recently visited the Adria factory in Slovenia and we’ve just attended the UK launch of the 2018 models. We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Adria and now feel we really can offer something for everyone at our Preston showroom. We have a fantastic team who are totally committed to giving our customers an excellent level of service and that service now extends to Adria owners throughout the North West.’

The Adria range sits comfortably alongside the other brands at Signature’s Preston showroom. An extensive range of motorhomes is now available, from panel van conversions to compact, coachbuilt or A class motorhomes, and ranging in size from five metres to just under eight metres.

Also available is German brand Globecar, known for its modern design, quality build and attractive pricing options.

Signature’s sister Company, Vantage Motorhomes is based in Leeds and manufactures quality award-winning van conversion motorhomes using the Fiat Ducato base vehicle.  The Vantage factory custom-builds to a full order book.  However, recent expansion at the factory will mean an increase in production of 30% thereby increasing the availability of vans for the Signature showroom.

The UK motorhome market is thriving, resulting in an exceptionally high level of registrations in 2016, according to figures released by the NCC (National Caravan Council). The latest figures show that 12,332 motorhomes were registered last year, compared to 10,572 in 2015. That represents a 16.6% year-on-year increase.

The NCC attributes this upward trend to the extensive choice and variety of motorhome and campervan models now available. The versatility of the products and the lifestyle they offer appeals to a widening range of customers.

Figures for 2017 are already looking very positive.

‘We are constantly amazed by where our customers travel to in their motorhomes,’ said Michael Hardicker. ‘While staycations are certainly growing in popularity and short breaks will always be popular with motorhome fans, there’s no lack of owners who are looking for adventures further afield. We recently received photos from one of our motorhome owners who travelled for two months in Queensland Australia. Racking up over 7,000km.’
