Lancashire company’s new partnership with British Weight Lifting

Kukri Sports, based in Walton Summit, is proud to announce a powerful new partnership with British Weight Lifting (BWL). As official kit supplier,  Kukri Sports will provide exclusive bespoke sportswear and merchandise to BWL for the next three years.

British Weight Lifting is the National Governing Body for Olympic weightlifting and Paralympic powerlifting in the UK and holds one of the biggest domestic competitions in the sport. Their new partnership with the Lancashire based sportwear company will enhance the athletes presence and performance across hundreds of Olympic Weight Lifting and Para-Powerlifting clubs, such as Cross Fit in Leyland, a BWL club. It will also generate brand awareness for both BWL and Kukri Sports internationally, across the education sector, weightlifting clubs and on a worldwide stage.

Commenting on the announcement, Danielle Jordan-Taft, GB & European Sales Director at Kukri said:

“We are honored and proud to be partnered with British Weight Lifting. Our partnership will not only demonstrate our unrivalled product and service, but our commitment to achieving outstanding excellence.  We are looking forward to working together and continuously developing and providing a distinctive yet consistent look across hundreds of BWL Clubs and international events.”

In response, Ashley Metcalfe, Chief Executive at BWL added:

“We are delighted and extremely proud to announce our new partnership with Kukri. As our official kit supplier, we are confident our relationship with Kukri will bring only positive and exciting opportunities for us, our athletes and BWL as a whole.”
