Demand drives recruitment by Napthens property team

The Residential Property team at Napthens solicitors is recruiting staff across the firm’s offices in Lancashire and Cumbria.

The conveyancing department has seen a marked increase in demand for its services over the last 12 months, and is looking to hire two conveyancing lawyers in its Blackpool and Penrith offices, and three legal assistants across its Penrith, Preston and Blackburn offices.

The recruitment drive comes as the department reveals a 76 per cent growth in instructions during the last quarter compared to the same period in 2016.

Sarah Barnes, partner and head of the Residential Property team at Napthens, said: “We have seen high levels of activity and strong growth in each of the areas we operate, and this growth has been particularly noticeable in Cumbria and Southport where our newest offices are based.

“The market as a whole remains fairly steady without any significant upwards shift over the last 12 months as Brexit and the recent election appear to have restrained activity.

“So the growth the Residential Property team has seen is a great result, and mainly down to the work our team is doing to build strong relationships with local agents and ensure we are known for our high standards and the excellent service we provide to clients.”

Napthens’ award-winning team advises clients on a range of residential property issues including buying and selling, re-mortgages, investment properties, and leasehold issues.
