Trilanco bolsters team to support retailers

Trilanco Ltd has appointed three new sales managers to support the continued growth and expansion of its agricultural, equine and pet wholesaler business.

Martin Balmer, Trilanco’s Managing Director, said:

“In line with the company’s vision to be the leading agricultural, equine and pet wholesaler, the new roles will help to ensure we remain as leaders in the field.

“The sales managers will help us to better demonstrate and deliver our specialist knowledge to customers within our three key markets.”

The new roles are in addition to Trilanco’s area sales team who support retailers across the UK and Ireland.

Kelly Whapples is the new Equestrian Sales Manager. Kelly joined Trilanco in July 2014 having worked previously in the industry with well-known suppliers of horse equipment and clothing for riders. She is R-SQP qualified and has ridden horses from a young age.

David Haig is the new Agriculture Sales Manager. He has worked at Trilanco for more than 15 years in a variety of roles including UK Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager for the North of England, Scotland and Ireland. David is R-SQP qualified and has over 40 years’ experience working in the agricultural industry.

Kevin Duffy is the new Pet Sales Manager. Kevin is currently Trilanco’s Area Sales Manager for the North West of England and Ireland, and Sales Manager for Easidri, the brand best known for its high-performance cooling coats for dogs. Kevin also holds the NOAH Certificate of Animal Health (NCAH).

Martin added:“Trilanco is in a very exciting stage of growth. With over 12,000 products in our current catalogue and new lines being added all the time, having a sales team with a wealth of experience to provide product advice and recommendations to retail customers of all sizes is invaluable.”

Trilanco is also delighted to welcome Faye Jones as Area Sales Manager covering the South West of England. Faye has worked in the equine trade industry for over seven years.

Of the appointment, Faye said: “I’m extremely excited to be joining Trilanco. The company’s vast range of products and enthusiasm for its customers is very exciting. I’m looking forward to the new challenge.”
