Deloitte has made a series of senior promotions across its North West practice with three new Partners and 11 Directors. These promotions took effect from 1st June 2017.
The business advisory firm has announced that Olly Tebbutt (Advisory Corporate Finance), Tim Grogan (Audit and Risk Advisory) and Ed Gibson (Tax) will become partners.
Olly joined Deloitte’s Advisory Corporate Finance team more than 15 years ago and has worked extensively with entrepreneurial businesses and private equity. In recent years, he has led on a number of high profile transactions including Equistone’s investment in Travel Counsellors, Palatine’s exit from Wealth at Work and acting for the shareholders of Ellis Whittam on the investment into the business by LDC.
Tim joined the firm in 2002 and during his career has supported a number of its largest PLC and private equity backed audit clients, both regionally and internationally. His focus is on large complex PE-backed audits as well as leading the North Equity Capital Markets team, providing a range of advisory services including reporting accountant work on IPOs, equity raisings, acquisitions and disposals. Tim sits on the North Regional Advisory Group for the London Stock Exchange, is a Board member of Pro Manchester and was the Pro Manchester Chairman during 2015/16.
Ed also joined Deloitte in 2002 and specialises in international tax with a particular focus on large foreign-owned businesses investing into the UK. He works extensively with international groups, including a number of Fortune 500 companies, providing business-focused advice. His key areas of specialism are business model reorganisations and cross-border acquisitions and disposals. Ed also leads Deloitte’s diverted profits tax practice in the UK.
The 11 Directors are: Glen Frost, David Elliott and Richard Elgott (all Financial Advisory), Simon Hearne, Doug King, Saul Wadsworth and Andrew Gibson (all Audit and Risk Advisory), Kirstyn Jeffries, Greg Dalziel and Helen Rylands (all Tax) and Steven Huxley (Consulting).
Deloitte operates from offices in Manchester and Liverpool and employs more than 700 people in the North West region.

On an international scale, Deloitte North West Europe has promoted 149 new partners, including 57 in the UK. The newly combined firm, which has pledged to invest €200m over the next three years to enhance its global service, is made up of offices in Belgium, the Nordics, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.
