Lancashire company uses Plantworx 2017 exhibition as a springboard

Leyland based Remvox Security Solutions recently took full advantage of the major trade exhibition, Plantworx 2017, to launch two of its latest products.

Plantworx 2017, held at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire, is a biennial trade event for the Construction and Plant Hire sectors. Remvox, who are a specialist R&D and electronic security company, took the opportunity to exhibit at the event and coincided it with the launch of their two new flagship products, Remguard and Hawkeye Sentinel.

Remguard and Hawkeye Sentinel are cutting-edge rapid deployment CCTV systems, which give immediate security coverage for a site or premises and are much more reliable and considerably less expensive, than traditional manned guarding. They use high tech detection systems which significantly reduce the false alarms associated with old-fashioned passive infra-red (PIR) detectors and operate on a site completely independently of mains power.

The trade show proved extremely successful for Remvox and resulted in huge interest and orders from companies such as The Carey Group, Clancy Docwra, Allianz, Ground Control, Killoughery and the Canal and Rivers Trust.

Remvox’s Operations Director, Martyn Jones commented “It was a bit of a late decision for us to exhibit at the event and it put pressure on us to get a stand ready but we’re really glad we did. The weather was pretty awful for two out of the three days and the mud was knee-high by the end, but our new products performed faultlessly and got so much interest from key people in our target sectors that we really didn’t mind the weather.

“Obviously we believed ourselves that our new products were the bee’s knees but even we were surprised by the enthusiasm which our visitors showed for them.  Getting that endorsement from our target market, gives us great confidence that we will be able to build many profitable partnerships in the future. It was our first time at the event but definitely not our last.”
